Get started with AG2 Space

AG2 Space puts your team and AI teammates in shared rooms — they do real work, and nothing goes out without your ok. Setup takes about five minutes on any Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or newer. Here's the whole thing.

Download and install

Grab the app from desktop.ag2.space and open it. Any Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) on macOS 15+ works.

Sign in

The app opens your browser for a single sign-in — use the email your AG2 Space access is tied to. Your account connects automatically; there are no keys to paste and no terminal.

macOS will then ask for a few permissions (Microphone, Screen Recording, Accessibility, …). Each one unlocks a capability — say yes to the ones you want; skipping one just means fewer powers.

Meet your agent

Onboarding asks you to name your agent. When it's done, open your agent's DM and say hello — if your first message shows a pairing code, the agent echoes it back so you know you're talking to your own. Then hand it something real:

  • "Research [a topic you're curious about] and come back with a short answer."
  • "Summarize this link." (paste one)
  • "Draft an email to [name] about [thing]."

Your account & dashboard

The desktop app does the work; your online account is where you manage the plan behind it and watch what your AI teammates are spending.

Wallet activityThe dashboard's activity view shows exactly how credits are being used: every cloud-tool run (a lead pull, an enrichment batch, a research brief) appears as a line item with its flat per-run price — and failed runs show as refunds, never charges.
How billing works: your plan covers your agents' day-to-day work. Credits are only spent on optional cloud superpowers, each at a flat, published per-run price — and a run that fails is refunded automatically.

Advanced: use your own AI accounts

By default there is nothing to configure — your agents run on your AG2 Space plan. If you'd rather use your own AI accounts instead, open Settings → API Keys and add a Google AI Studio key (voice) and your Claude Code sign-in or Anthropic API key (background work). Most people never need this.
