Connect apps from chat

Your Sutando reaches the apps you already use (calendars, email, Linear, Slack, Notion, GitHub and 1,400+ more) through Composio. You don't have to set anything up first. Ask for what you want, and if the app isn't connected yet, your agent asks you to connect it right there in the chat and then finishes the job.

How it works

  1. Ask your agent. Name the app or the thing you want from it, in a DM with your Sutando: "What's on my calendar today?", "Show me my Linear issues", "Post this in #eng on Slack".
  2. Connect when asked. If the app isn't connected, your agent says so and posts a Connect card. Click Connect and sign in to the app in your browser. When you see "connected, you can close this tab", go back to AG2 Space.
  3. It carries on by itself. The card switches to Connected and your agent answers the request you already made. You don't need to ask again, and nothing restarts.

If the app was already connected, step 2 is skipped and you just get the answer.

A DM with a Sutando agent: the owner asks about Linear issues and the agent replies with a Linear Connect card
Linear isn't connected yet, so the agent posts a Connect card.

The Connect card

The card shows the app's logo and name, a Connect button, and who asked for it. The sign-in link is created the moment you click, so an old card never holds a link that someone else could use.

The same Linear card now showing Connected, with the agent saying it will pull up the issues once Linear is connected
After sign-in the card shows Connected, and the agent picks the request back up.

Typed "done" before the answer arrived? That's fine. Your agent notices the request is already being answered and replies once, not twice.

Several apps at once

When a request needs more than one app ("find my latest YouTube videos and post them in Slack"), you get one card with a row per app. Connect them in any order. Each row turns Connected on its own, and your agent answers once they are all connected.

One Connect card with two rows, Slack and YouTube, each with its own Connect button
One card covers every app the request needs.

Who can connect

  • Only you can connect your apps. The Connect button works only for the person the card is addressed to, and only when the card comes from their own agent. Anyone else in the room sees a read-only card.
  • Connecting stays between you and your agent. Ask from a room with other people and the Connect card, plus anything your agent says about connecting, shows under your message, only visible to you. Nobody else in the room sees it; they only see your agent's reply once the job is done.
  • Your private data stays in your DM. Mail, calendar events, files and messages go to your DM with your agent, with a one-line note in the room, instead of in front of everyone.
  • The right account, every time. Your agent checks that the same AG2 Cloud account is still signed in before it reads anything. If a different account is signed in by then, it tells you and shares nothing.

The private card shows in the AG2 Space desktop app on the Mac that runs your Sutando. On the web or your phone, ask in your DM with your agent instead: the Connect card appears there.

See, switch or disconnect apps

Click your name at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar and open Settings → Integrations. It lists every app your agent can use, with the account each one is signed in as and when you connected it.

  • Switch account signs the app in with a different account. Your agent keeps using the old account until the new sign-in finishes, so nothing breaks if you stop halfway.
  • Disconnect removes the app after you confirm. Your agent can't use it until you connect it again.
  • Needs reconnect means the app's sign-in expired or was revoked. Click Reconnect and sign in again.

You can also just ask your agent: "switch my Linear account" sends a Switch account card (only visible to you in a room with other people), and your agent carries on with the new account once you've signed in. "Which apps am I connected to?" gets you the list. Your agent never disconnects an app for you; that's always your click in Settings → Integrations.

Signed in with the same account again? The app's sign-in page reused the account your browser is already logged into. Sign out of that app in your browser (or pick a different account on its sign-in page), then click Switch account again.

Connect ahead of time

Prefer to set things up before you need them? Click your name at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar, open Settings → Marketplace, go to Connectors, find the app and click Connect. Connectors need AG2 Cloud connected (the button at the top right of the Marketplace). Browse every app you can connect at start.ag2.space/integrations.

Apps that are not in the list yet

The catalog covers 1,400+ apps, but not every site you use is an app with an API. Travel and rental sites are the usual gaps: Expedia, Booking.com, Trip.com, Zillow and their peers have no connector today.

Two things still work without one:

  • Your agent can use the site the way you would. Ask in plain words ("find me two-bedroom apartments in Austin under $2,500 on Zillow", "what does a Booking.com room at the Marriott in Lisbon cost next weekend") and it opens the site in its own browser, reads the listings, fills in search forms and reports back with links. It cannot sign in as you or pay for anything, and if a site blocks automation it tells you so instead of retrying quietly.
  • Request the app. In Settings → Integrations, search for the app; when it is not in the catalog you get a Request button. The request is recorded on your account, the app shows as Requested, and we use the count to decide what to add next. You can also just tell your agent "request an integration for Zillow".

If something looks off

The card says Sign in to AG2 Cloud

Connect AG2 Cloud first (the button at the top right of the Marketplace), then click the card again.

The card says Tap Connect again

The sign-in didn't finish, for example the tab was closed early. Click Connect again. If sign-in takes longer than 30 minutes, your agent tells you it stopped waiting: connect the app, then tell your agent.

The card says your AG2 Cloud session belongs to a different account

AG2 Space is signed in to AG2 Cloud with a different account from the one this card is for. Sign in with the right account, then click Connect.

The card says Not available yet

That app is listed but can't be connected from AG2 Space yet. Click Request on it in Settings → Integrations, or tell us at support@ag2.space. Until then your agent can still use the site in its own browser; see Apps that are not in the list yet.
